Do you believe somethings happen for a reason? Maybe God is trying to tell you something? I sure do.
For instance you have been tired, moody, grouchy, and not feeling well. Your stress level is through the roof and you have too many things on your plate, your family keeps telling you, you need to get rid of some of the stress your under.
You think you are doing okay and then you’re sitting in the emergency department. Oh No! I’m being admitted to the hospital. It is not fun when you are a registered nurse and you’re the patient now.
Your 61 and thought you were pretty healthy now you are in the hospital with chest, arm, and shoulder pain. The Doctor tells you are being admitted to the hospital for pneumonia and pericarditis which is inflammation around the heart.
Then the light bulb clicked on, I felt God telling me “quit trying to fix other people’s problems and do everything yourself” its time to take better care of yourself, simplify your life and relieve your stress.
I must say it was very relaxing in the hospital for the few days. I was there I didn’t have to do anything but rest.
Since I’ve been discharged from the hospital, I have been on medical leave some of my stress has been relieved.
My family has helped by not engaging in conversation that are stress triggers for me and haven’t been asking me to do things for them.
When thoughts come into my mind, I quickly clear my mind of the thought by telling myself this is not an issue I need to be concerned about, I quickly give the concern to God and move On.
Another thing is I am more aware of my health and well-being. I know I have to take my health into consideration when I am making decisions and adding more to my life and my scheduled, that I maybe should be saying no to.
In the end we are all in control of our stress, how much we have, if we are happy with that, or is it entirely too much to handle, are you having headaches don’t feel good because of it. Stress causes a lot of health issues and if we want to be healthy we need to be sure we are not carrying around more than our mind soul and body can handle.
I believe some things do happen for a reason and we can see it when events happen in our life’s. For me it is time to remove the stress as much as possible, make good decisions for my life, and take care of my health.
What about you? Are you having too much stress, feeling ill, having headaches, or pain. If this is you evaluate your life and try to make your life less stressful and Simple. Don’t wait until you have to go to the hospital. If you have chest pain don’t mess around with that get checked, women’s chest pain is sometimes different then mens.
