8 Tips To Plan For  Retirement With Only Social Security

8 Tips To Plan For Retirement With Only Social Security

Getting close to retirement and don’t have a pension here are 8 tips to help!

I am partially retired still working 2 days a week to carry our health insurance benefits, whats left is used for our monthly spending money. Be smart and Frugal with your money

Established an emergency fund and a regular savings account for a cushion.

Pay off miscellaneous bills, credit cards any other bills that you have. When my husband turned 66 he collected full social security and still worked, we used that money to pay off our car.

We still have a small mortgage and are working towards paying it off by the end of the year. The extra money for the mortgage is coming from our selling on E-bay

If you don’t have a pension, having a small business like selling on E-bay can help with the miscellaneous bills or to build a savings account.

Share meals when you go out to eat we do this at least once a week, Go out for the early specials, eat left overs, don’t waste food.

Use Coupons, shop from the store circulars to plan meals, buy BOGO and use a coupon for the best savings thats a big help. Have a food budget

You don’t need to be a millionaire to Live simply and Well on social security in retirement years. You only need to be Wise and Manage your money, use Cash not Credit.
